In honour of World Mental Health Day 2025, we were proud to have our CEO, Stephanie Bashford, deliver a deeply personal and inspiring presentation during the Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce ESG Committee’s webinar.
Stephanie shared her own story, one of resilience, self-discovery, and purpose, shining a light on the importance of staying true to yourself, even through life’s most challenging moments. Her message was a powerful reminder that vulnerability is not weakness, but strength, and that our personal stories have the power to create understanding, connection, and change.
Through honesty and authenticity, Stephanie encouraged attendees to prioritise their mental wellbeing, to recognise the impact of workplace culture on emotional health, and to build communities where people feel seen, heard, and supported.
At Discussing Mental Health, we believe that conversations grounded in truth and compassion can transform not only individuals, but entire organisations. Together, we can foster environments where openness is celebrated and mental health is nurtured, not just on World Mental Health Day, but every day.
